In the past I had been harassed by another seller, trying to bully me into moving some of my items. This person is trying to claim things I have listed under the "Children's Jewelry" is listed wrong. I received not one but two emails within a couple minutes of each other threatening to turn me into ecrater if I didn't move them. One of this person's emails said something about "just because you call it children's jewelry doesn't make it children's jewelry, it's not children's jewelry." Yes, it's very immature. I'm not going to post the person's name or any information to "hint" where to find them. I have morals and values not to stoop that low. But to let my customers know, I am not trying to be shady or hide from you, I just have to employ some safety measures for now. And if you see any smearing of my name and/or business out there, don't believe any of it. This person must feel threatened, even though we are both on different sides of the jewelry market. You can contact 214 Jewelry Designs via email 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I will respond during regular business hours, which are Monday thru Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hawaii. I am closed Saturday, Sunday, and on all Federal Holidays.

Every item I sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If merchandise is defective or damaged upon receipt please contact me immediately after your package arrives for a return authorization claim number. All claims MUST be made within 3 (three) business days from the date of purchase. You will have another 7 (seven) business days to return your item(s).

How to find your face shape. The best way to find the shape of your face is to measure it with a ruler or tape measure. Take the following measurements (be sure to write them down as you go). 1. Measure across the top of your cheekbones. 2. Measure across the top of your cheekbones. 3. Measure across your forehead at the widest point. The widest point is generally is somewhere about halfway between your eyebrows and your hairline. 4. Measure from the tip of your hairline to the bottom of your chin. 5. Use your measurements to find your face shape from the 6 shapes below.

What face shape am I? The first four face shapes are soft and curved, while the last four face shapes have more corners and angles. OVAL FACE: Length is equal to one and a half time the width. Slightly longer than it is wide with curved soft edges. ROUND FACE: Your face is as wide as it is long with rounded edges. Will have equal distance all around with the nose as a center point. OBLONG FACE: Your face is longer than it is wide. Is an elongated oval shape. HEART FACE: Your face is narrow at jaw line, wide at cheekbones and/or forehead. Wider at the eye, temple, and cheek area with a narrow chin with soft and curved edges. SQUARE FACE: Your face is about as wide as it is long. The jaw is strong and square and the chin may stick out a bit. DIAMOND FACE: Widest at the cheekbones, narrow at the forehead and jaw line of approximately equal widths. Has sharper features. RECTANGLE FACE: Is similar to a square but is longer than it is wide. TRIANGLE FACE: Is similar to a heart shape, but the lines and edges are sharper and more angular.

EARRINGS OVAL FACES: These face shapes can wear any shape earring. Balance your body size with your earrings, if youre small, keep your earrings small, if youre a plus size, you can choose larger earrings. To keep with the soft lines in your face, choose soft shapes such as pearls, tear drops, circles, and ovals. ROUND FACES: You will need earrings with length to elongate your face. Choose drop earrings that are teardrop in shape. OBLONG FACES: Choose button earrings to draw the eye horizontally. HEART FACES: You will need to choose earrings that are wider at the bottom to balance a narrow chin. Teardrops, inverted triangles, or button earrings are good choices. DIAMOND FACES: You can follow the same rules for an oval shaped faces. But this face shape can carry a more dramatic design. Complement the angular shape of your face by choosing earrings with corners, points, and harder edges. SQUARE FACES: Compliment your square face with drop earrings to create the look of length. RECTANGLE FACES: To keep the lines of the face choose a button style earring. TRIANGLE FACES: This shape is similar to the heart shape but has more prominent angles. To balance this out with earrings that have more width at the bottom.

NECKLACES: OVAL FACES: You can wear anything. ROUND FACES: Choose a necklace that adds length to your face. A longer or T-style necklace complements the round face. Avoid short necklaces, chokers, large stones, and pearls, because you dont want to add any visual thickness to the neck with a round face. OBLONG FACES: You can wear chokers well, which helps to break up the vertical line that happens with an oblong face. HEART FACES: You can wear chokers, or a double or triple strand of pearls. Since the heart face has a narrow chin, create fullness at the neck with the right necklace will balance the wider eye and cheekbone areas of your heart shaped face. DIAMOND FACES: This face shape is like the oval face shape but has corners. You can wear any style of necklace, just keep it proportioned to your size. Drop crystals look really nice with this face shape. SQUARE FACES: You need to add length and softness and a T-style necklace or a simple strand of pearls that hang slightly longer are perfect choices. RECTANGLE FACES: Shorter necklaces work well to soften and widen the face. TRIANGLE FACES: This shape is a heart shape with corners and angles. You can match the angles of your face for impact or to soften them choose a necklace that counterbalances the angles. Avoid necklaces that end in a point and a wider look will balance this face shape.

I can't call any of my art one-of-a-kind. I'm sure if you look around, you'll find other people selling items that have a similar "style" to mine or vice versa. I do not set out to copy anyone, to benefit from their hard work or fame. But if I see something I like I will make something similar, changing it so it's more my own style. Two-Fourteen Jewelry Designs is actually an off-shoot of Angie Pinkal's Art Studio. Before my daughter was born I was an avid painter and sold my work on that popular online aution site and I did pretty well. But once she came along, I no longer had the time or energy. As she got older I decided I wanted to go back to work. I had plans to open a gourmet pet bakery, and had everything mapped out and planned. I was just waiting to get taxes back to buy my supplies. Then my best friend, Lisa showed me her handmade jewelry that she sometimes makes (she does a lot of lampworking-making glass beads) and I fell in love and wanted to do it too. I love to be creative! And well, the rest is history. I've done one local show, and did fairly well. I hope to do more shows this upcoming year now that I'm better prepared. I have 100% positive feedback on that auction site, I never had one complaint on my artwork or how I did business. To find out more, look me up... I donate to The Children's Miracle Network whenever I can. I believe because of this great cause my daughter, who was born 6.5 weeks premature (by doctor's orders) via c-section, and weighing in at only 2 pounds 14 ounces, was able to come home as soon as she did. She was in the NICU for 3 weeks before being able to come home, and was in an incubator for most of that time. And 2 of the 3 they used for her were donated by The Children's Miracle Network. I will also donate to the Humane Society when I can. I fully believe in helping kids and animals.

Liver of Sulfur is a mixture of potassium sulfides which traditionally has been used to darken or give an 'antique' look to silver and bronzes. What happens is the sulfur is reacting with the surface to produce the grays and blacks. I've even gotten some sterling silver pieces to have a coppery color, while other sterling silver has almost a dark blue/green/purplish iridescent look. All of these different 'antiquing' colors make for some interesting jewelry and gives me a wider assortment of possibilities. I can also produce almost one-of-a-kind pieces.

I do things in a sort of orderly fashion with every aspect of jewelry making and the business side of things. When I'm in the jewelry making mode, I'm in one of two modes, making jewelry or making "kits" to run through Liver of Sulfur. The "kits" are all predesigned and all components are placed in individual baggies. I run all sterling silver through the Liver of Sulfur before assembling my pieces. This way there is no spot untouched and no plain silver showing through. Jewelry tends to shift and when I'm wire wrapping, I need to be sure the wire or head pins are all one color. And yes, Liver of Sulfur smells like it sounds. It has a very strong sulfur smell and must be worked with outdoors. Rubber gloves are a pain to use when working with small components, like 2 mm spacer beads, so I have to "dig in" bare hands and all. Luckily, a good scrubbing with soap and hand sanitizer works great at getting the stink off my hands.

My mission as an artist and store owner is to offer the best possible product I can. That means I buy what supplies I can wholesale, so I can pass on the savings to my customers. I buy only quality items; sterling silver, pearls, Swarovski Crystals, and semi-precious gemstones. And for my one-of-a-kind pieces I use shells and sea glass found on the beaches in Hawaii. I do however have a few pieces made from purchased shells. I hope to do more with the found items in the future. I try to be approachable to everyone. I believe in treating all of my customers with dignity and respect. I treat my customers how I expect to be treated as a customer. I don't believe that any question is a dumb question. When I'm being creative, I enjoy it 100%, I don't do it to set out to get rich and famous. I'm happy to be able to be a stay-at-home mommy to my daughter and to have a business based around something I love. I don't claim to be perfect or that I have the perfect product or even that I'm better than the next artist. But I want to be able to create items that you won't be able to find at just any store. I don't compare myself to anyone else doing what I do. My Simple Mission Statement: I want to be able to offer nice jewelry made with quality components at a cost that anyone can afford. In August of 2008, President Bush jr. signed a law stating that ALL products made for children 12 and under must have a compliant lead certificate for every item used in the product as well as the product itself, and also must have a permanent RFID tracking device embedded in the product.
